Pain Management is a medical specialty focused on helping patients deal with acute or chronic painful conditions that lead to poor quality of life, limited mobility, anxiety, frustration and many other consequences that are directly caused by the persistence of pain. Treatment goals focus on restoring a patient’s quality of life by decreasing the frequency and/or severity of pain, increasing the patient’s level of physical activity, and facilitating a timely return to work, if applicable.
